Employment Insurance - EI
Employment Insurance provides temporary financial assistance for unemployed Canadians while they look for work or upgrade their skills. Canadians who are sick, pregnant or caring for a newborn or adopted child, as well as those who must care for a family member who is seriously ill with a significant risk of death, may also be assisted by Employment Insurance.

Ontario Drug Benefit Program (65 yrs old)
people 65 years of age and older;residents of long-term care homes; residents of Homes for Special Care; people receiving professional services under the Home Care program Trillium Drug Program registrants.

Trillium Drug Program

The Trillium Drug Program (TDP) is intended for Ontario residents who have a valid Ontario Health Card and who have high prescription drug costs in relation to their net household income.

New Drug Funding Program
This program provides funding for new and expensive intravenously administered drugs. (i.e cancer drugs)

Assitive Devices Program
Provides consumer centered support and funding to Ontario residents who have long-term physical disabilities and to provide access to personalized assistive devices appropriate for the individual’s basic needs.

Flexible Employee Benefit Programs 
Canada Revenue Agency, overview the tax treatment of flexible employee benefit programs. These programs, which are sometimes referred to as “flexible benefit plans” or “cafeteria plans,” are not defined in the Income Tax Act but can generally be described as a program of delivering company benefits where the employees are able to select the type and level of coverage from among a menu of available benefits. (downloable file from Reveneue Canada)
